Abstract
Human-machine system (HMS) is an intelligent system in which a human operator cooperates and/or shares the functions with an automated machine in achieving a target task, such as an automobile, an airplane, a wearable robot, and so on. In this talk, the outline of HMSs is introduced and discussed with some state-of-the-art researches in order to find what we should/could do for further innovation in HMSs.
